Hi. I'm Ali. Ali JOHNSON. I started this blog in December of 2009 merely because... I am shamelessly impressionable. My husband's cousin's wife (Did you follow that? Would that be my cousin-in-law-in-law?), Anna, suggested it. I believe she based her assessment on my fascination with Facebook status updates. (Huh. That's probably something I should ask her.) Clearly, she sensed, before I did, that I had much more than 140 characters worth of stuff to say about the nonsense in my brain - and the zany life of the Johnsons.
In "real life", I am the unbelievably blessed wife of Shawn (since Jun '99) and mom of Spencer (Oct '03) and Elizabeth (Jun '06). I am the very busy director of this household. And, if I could choose to do anything in this world, I would choose to be the wife & mom of my family.
To be quite honest, it seems awfully egotistical to think that anyone would want to keep up with my little ol' family or care about my views on life. But, I guess that's what grandparents are for, right? They have to be interested, don't they?
I can't promise much. I will seldom have a deep thought. I won't challenge you too much. But, I will be honest; sometimes serious; A LOT sarcastic (because I believe it is the body's natural defense against stupidity). Hopefully, I'll let you know that you're no more of a freak than the rest of us. We're all just a little bit crazy. And, for the most part, I don't think any of us are any better or worse than the rest.
